Stables
is a small, family owned farm located in Munger,
Michigan. We live on 80 acres, raise Tennessee Walking
Horses, and run our family owned and operated business,
"Bayside Seeds". Our family consists of myself, Gail,
my husband Jim, and our two boys Justin and Noah. We
fell in love with, and have been enjoying Tennessee
Walking Horses for nearly 20 years now. We have found
their smooth gait and wonderful disposition to be
incomparable, and a pleasure to work with. We raise,
show, and trail ride
Walking Horses.
We are also very strong advocates of the sound horse
movement, and only deal with horses who perform
naturally without gait enhancing or soring techniques of
any kind. Due to past encounters with trainers who
claimed to train naturally, but practiced other methods
behind closed doors, we are all too familiar with the
many "tactics" some walking horse trainers resort to, in
order to improve a horse's gait. We are dedicated to
helping people and horses reach their fullest potential
using natural horsemanship methods, rather than "quick
fixes" that typically injure the horse and result in a
shorter career. We support NWHA, Sound Horse
Organization, and other groups dedicated to the
protection and promotion of sound horses. All of our
horses are exceptionally talented, well gaited, and
competitive in the show ring......and they always do it
naturally!
